Dear 4a4
Just a quick note to thank you for your arrangements. My students love to play them. I enclose one of my arrangements for you.
Thanks once again.

Thanks for your truly excellent arrangements Philippe. Ours is not a regular quartet, but we get together from time to time as and when one of us is asked privately to provide some music for an event or function and your arrangements are just perfect for this. We don't always have a bari though and are often SAAT. So I have to confess to occasionally transposing your tenor and bari parts for alto and tenor which sometimes works and sometimes doesn't, (OK you can stick the pins in the effigy now !!) Can I add to the list of requests please - Lui Prima's 1963 classic 'Sing, Sing, Sing' is one of the defining numbers of the big band era, but I'm certain that a quartet arrangement of it in your inimitable style would capture the big band feel of that classic swing number and we would love to add it to our Pilippe Marillia collection. Kind regards and best wishes, Peter, UK

Some great arrangements for both sax ensemble and Big Band. Have just bought "B Rhapsody" for sax quartet and my school group love it. It's great to be able to download it in the evening and be rehearsing it the next day! Thanks for the optional alto part for the soprano line. I wish other publishers would do this.
I run two school Big Bands, one a training band. Could we have a few more grade 1-3 Big Band arrangements that are in the swing feel for the young ones please! Seems to be a lot of straight quaver charts.
Thanks

I have been a fan of your arrangements for years. Every year seems to get better. We especially like Moolight Serenade (I am teasing you on your spelling) We had a good laugh as we thought it was a new version for Bovin Romances....he heh. great version by the way. the chording is fantastic!
The more swing tunes the better. If I were to make a suggestion it would be "Tippin in" or "One O'clock Jump".
We can't wait to see what you do next.
Kind regards
Ron
